So yeah, I’ve been studying/playing hold em for almost a year now. It’s starting to cause issues for my wife. It really isn’t poker so much as it’s she’s generally unhappy because the way her career is/isn’t going. We had an issue similar to this last October so I spent November/December focusing on cash games (which I basically sux at.) My bankroll got so low, I started playing SNGs again to grind it back up. Cash games are just so much more flexible for the schedule – better for the relationship. Anyway, I received a pretty big bonus at work and was able to make a deposit. I need to be focusing on cash games again – it just feels so good to win again :). I’m taking a couple of days off from work this week. The plan is to play some tourneys those days and start to focus on cash games again this weekend. Plan – execute – got it :) – HD
