I'm a learning player at STT and was wanting advise on weather or not to play Turbo's or Not im going to be trying to get a lot of volume in and hopefully becoming a profitable player in the long run what i want to know is whats better for profit and why ? also my ? was is there any recommended training videos that are a must see and tips are always welcome.

Last man standing is a great primer then Hitchhikers guide and real life Micro SNG grinder.
As far as turbo or non turbo - to play turbo's you have to have your push fold game down. You can play much more solid playing non turbos, but they take longer and you have to have patience. Being profitable as you are learning is playing solid poker, not volume.

variance is higher in turbos, but you can play more per hour possibly making your hourly higher if you have a good understanding of ICM, your push fold game is good and the variance doesn't tilt you.
